Fagus Sylvatica Gold is a medium size deciduous tree with smooth grey bark. The leaf is gold during the summer and colours well in autumn. The branches are upright (fastigiate) in its growing habit.

Foliage: Dawyck Gold Beech has attractive lime green foliage which emerges gold in spring. The serrated pointy leaves are highly ornamental and turn an outstanding coppery-bronze in the fall.
